Chris is giving a Security Seminar on reproducible builds at 2pm, so I’ve invited him to stop by for a Q&A session with the systems research group before the talk.

Here are a few questions to get started, bring your own to the session:

- You got your start in open source while you were an undergraduate in computer science at a UK university, what do you think we could do to help more of our students engage with open source projects?

- A number of open source projects now maintain lists of potential student-sized activities as potential Google Summer of Code or Outreachy projects. CS students at Cambridge do a series of practical implementation projects as part of completing their degrees. Possible synergy? Students working on real-world open source projects as part of their degree requirements?

- I use Debian/Ubuntu in my research or/and I work on open source project X, how do I make sure Y package is up-to-date in Debian?
