Abstract

This event aims to bring together Cambridge-based users of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for environmental science applications, as well as those interested in using UAVs in the future. It will provide an opportunity to meet, share work and ideas, and discuss technical solutions and opportunities for future collaboration.

Talks are accepted on any of the diverse aspects of the application and design of unmanned aerial vehicles in fields as diverse as physical geography, earth science, climatology, meteorology, zoology, conservation, ecology, plant sciences, and archaeology.

Attendance is free and open to all at the University of Cambridge and associated institutions. Talks will be 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions. Giving a talk is not mandatory, but we are hoping to have talks from a wide variety of disciplines. In the event of oversubscription, we will aim to prioritise talks such as to give a broad a range of examples across disciplines as possible.
