CTEQ-TEA: Precise analysis of hadron structure in the LHC era

Abstract
The affluence of experimental measurements at the Large Hadron Collider opens an unprecedented window onto the internal structure of protons and nuclei. In turn, knowledge of distributions of quarks and gluons inside protons is essential for the success of the high-luminosity LHC physics program. I will discuss progress in the global QCD analysis, a systematic approach to determine parton distributions and explore subtle dynamic effects revealed by precise collider data. A new generation of parton distributions from the CTEQ -TEA group will be introduced. Advances in QCD theory, experiment, and multivariate statistics aimed at raising the accuracy of the parton distributions to the next level will be discussed.
