Abstract
I will survey some big ideas and outstanding questions in the homological representation theory of finite-dimensional algebras. I hope to place my research in this wider context and shine a light on some of my favourite interplay between linear algebra, homological algebra, category theory and combinatorics.
Time permitting, I will provide a update on my current progress.
(Keen beans can find a sneak preview of my research topic in my supervisor Jeremy Rickard’s 2018 paper Unbounded derived categories and the finitistic dimension conjecture (https://arxiv.org/abs/1804.09801).)
