Abstract
This seminar will examine the processes by which teengers with migrant backgrounds are at risk of marginalisation and criminalisation. It applies procedural justice ideas to the International Self-Report Delinquency Study, a large survey of schoolchildren. The analysis focusses on England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Scotland and the USA . It compares first and second generation migrant teenagers with non-migrants, differentiating between those from visible ethnic minorities and others.
