Abstract
Electronics have become even smaller year-by-year at an incredible speed and have recently become highly mechanically flexible. However, sensors and transducers apparently haven’t kept up to date. In this talk, I will introduce the work on miniaturisation of ultrasonic transducers and their mechanically flexible version, which can be wearable on cloth or skin and even implantable and will envision potential applications in health care (e.g. intra-body communication, mobile monitoring) and other interesting areas (e.g. group interaction analysis) will also be discussed.``
