Abstract
I will talk about how one can use dark matter detectors for purposes other than what they were designed for. In particular, I will explain how they can be used to look for unstable particles in the dark sector, as well as low mass dark matter. I will also show how one can use them to look for neutrinos and to test for beyond the standard model physics of neutrino interactions, including potentially the elusive CNO neutrinos from the Sun which are required to shed light on the Solar metallicity problem.
