- 👤 Speaker: Albert Visser 🔗 Website

- 📍 Venue: Centre for Mathematical Sciences, MR19
Abstract
I will first present various degree structures and discuss some basic facts concerning these structures. In addition, I provide some references to the literature.
Then, I will address the phenomenon of globalisation: roughly the fact that in many cases local interpretability in one theory coincides with global interpretability in another theory.
In discussing globalisation, we will review some important notions like the Orey-Hájek characterization, Uniform Tarski Biconditionals and First-order comprehension.
