Supply chain theory is well developed for product based supply chains. Despite the credit crunch, service industries are an increasingly important sector of the economy, yet there is no theory that explains how service supply chains perform. This seminar presents a tool that has been developed to explore the dynamics of service supply chain performance, and through a business game help organisations understand the service and cost implications of different management strategies.
