Abstract
Classical Greek Art is usually described as a way of depicting the human body that is marked by a high degree of naturalism. But if one compares archaic with classical Greek painted pottery one finds that more has changed than just the manner of drawing the body. Classical bodies are shown doing quite different things. This lecture investigates.
