NOTICE UNUSUAL ROOM - LT2

In resource-limited settings, emerging technologies such as AI can play an important role in bridging gaps for intervention planning and critical decision making. The AI research group in Uganda specialises in the application of artificial intelligence and data science to problems of the developing world in context of; gathering information on underserved/ under resourced phenomena using conventional and unconventional methods, using machine learning as decision support where there is lack of human expertise, and resource allocation of scarce resources.

For this seminar, I shall present some of our work that we have done in the domains of agriculture, health, infrastructure etc.
