Abstract
Professor Ronaldo C. da Costa is a Professor and Service Head of Neurology and Neurosurgery at The Ohio University in USA . He leads an active clinical and research program, focused primarily on spinal diseases. Professor da Costa has published over 110 articles and book chapters, including 45 on cervical spondylomyelopathy, has authored two books and received over 30 awards, including 7 teaching awards at the Ohio State University.
In this seminar, Professor da Costa will present a series of studies aimed at understanding the etiology, pathogenesis and natural history of cervical spondylomyelopathy, as well as offer refinement of diagnostic and treatment strategies for the disease.
