Abstract
Erwin Schrödinger is famous not only for his equation, but also for his extravagant love life. Hopefully the history will forgive us if we cheat on him the way he cheated on his wife. It turns out, that it is possible to circumvent the Schrödinger equation to obtain quantum results directly from a fully classical simulation. I shall explore some of the methods that try to get the best of both worlds – with a help from another eccentric Nobel prize winner, this time one that loved to play the bongos and pick locks…
