Abstract
It is with great pleasure that I introduce the first informal lunchtime seminar of Michaelmas term. Dr Robert Harding is a Senior Research Associate in the Civilizations in Contact research project, which is a three-year research project under the auspices of the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies. The project has offices in Sir Vivien Fuchs House (otherwise known as 78 Barton Road) in Wolfson College. The Project is funded by the Golden Web Foundation. Dr Harding received his PhD in archaeology from the University of Cambridge, and has taught at Birkbeck College and UCL .
