Abstract
Object detection is one of the most studied and landmark problems in Computer Vision. With the rise of learning-based approaches, the community has identified many unique imbalance problems pertinent to object detection. In this talk, I will first provide a taxonomy of the approaches and a general picture of open issues for addressing imbalance in object detection. Then, I will present our recent proposals mitigating such imbalance problems in object detection.
