Building blocks for scattering amplitudes and cross sections

Abstract
Degrees of freedom associated to different scales factorise in physically relevant process. In this talk I will discuss the factorisation of purely collinear contributions to scattering amplitudes and cross sections. These quantities will be associated to different Wilson line geometries, implying non-trivial relations between the them.
