Abstract

The SEO London Internship Programme provides outstanding penultimate year undergraduates from ethnic minority groups under-represented in the City, specifically those from Black and Asian backgrounds, the unparalleled opportunity to gain summer internships at the most prestigious investment banks in the UK financial services sector. SEO provides students with extensive training, mentoring and networking opportunities, linking students not only to firms they work for, but to opportunities and experienced professionals throughout the industry. 80% of SEO interns go on to secure a full-time graduate role by the end of their internships. In summer 2008, over 200 SEO interns worked in Technology, Banking and Law. Through this summer experience, and through on-going Alumni activities, SEO London develops the generation of business and community leaders.
