Abstract
This seminar will be on the concept of ‘safe’ food (meat). In the last year the COVID -19 pandemic has raised the profile of the notion ‘safe’; safe life, safe working place, safe contact and so on. These concerns will be debated perpetually by the public and professionals both nationally and internationally. The fundamental question which emerges here is: can ‘safe’ food or life or activity be legalised and/or guaranteed?
