Abstract
We often think of hazard events as occurring in isolation, but interactions between hazards, particularly those which unfold over very different timescales, present unique challenges for disaster management. This seminar will investigate how we can prepare for sudden hazards, such as earthquakes, flooding or volcanic eruptions, in the context of longer term disasters, such as climate change and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
