Abstract
This is a short scientific meeting covering aspects of neurodegeneration research to highlight work by groups collaborating with the ALBORADA Drug Discovery Institute. Over the course of a 2 hour scientific meeting there will be three scientific talks and a short introduction to the ALBORADA Drug Discovery Institute highlighting opportunities for collaboration for both academic and industrial groups.
The meeting will start with a plenary lecture from Jason Gestwicki of the University of California San Francisco on the role of chaperones in tau proteostasis and will also feature talks from PhD students – at the Cambridge Dementia Research Institute on a novel pathway for degradation of fibrillar tau by the ubiquitin-proteasome system and from Inserm, University of Lille on the role of ferroptosis in neurodegeneration.
Series This talk is part of the Cambridge Neuroscience Seminars series.
