Abstract
Since 23 March 2020, social distancing measures have been implemented in the UK to reduce SARS -CoV-2 transmission. We conducted a repeated cross-sectional survey to quantify and characterize non-household contact and to identify the effect of shielding and self-isolating on contact patterns. Through an online questionnaire, the CoCoNet study measured the daily interactions, mobility and locations frequented by people living in the UK. We present analysis of the survey results from the start of the second wave of SARS -CoV-2 (July â August 2020) and during the second UK lockdown (November â December 2020).
