Abstract
DeFi today is what internet was in the early 00s. Blockchain, the tokenization of assets, NFTs – these innovations are going to increasingly change the way we operate in traditional markets. Join this Tech Talk to explore decentralized finance with two algorithmic traders at Wintermute, one of the largest players in the global digital asset markets.
In this session we will explain what is wrong with traditional financial markets and how disruptive technologies like blockchain are solving these issues. We will touch briefly on the history of decentralized finance, specifically Ethereum, and to dive deep into the current state of the landscape and the challenges that are (or will be) fronting DeFi as it evolves.
