Abstract
We have developed a suite of immunoassays capable of detecting SARS -CoV-2 specific antibodies in saliva and serum. In this talk, I will present an overview of the development and evaluation of these assays, discuss the theoretical consequences of mucosal vs systemic immune responses and give examples of their applications in epidemiological studies of natural infection and vaccination.
