Abstract
The 2.7255 K blackbody radiation is a rich testament from the Big Bang. I will show how the Planck function and its derivatives are central to millimetre experimental cosmology. I will present a short historical perspective (COBE, WMAP , Planck satellites). Then I will show how the latest experiments (NIKA2 on the IRAM 30m, Concerto on APEX 12m), developped in Grenoble, expand on the Planck legacy, using state-of-the-art KIDs (Kinetic Inductance Detectors) in ever increasing numbers.
