Abstract
Dementia is a condition that has attracted a great deal of societal attention given our ageing populations. For the last three and a half decades we have been gathering evidence from population representative studies to help to inform our understanding of dementia in the context of ageing brains. This talk will cover some of the findings from this work and reflect on their relevance to current research and future directions.
