The detection of gravitational waves (GWs) has opened a new era in cosmology, as they provide a new probe to study the universe. This enables us to acquire information which is not available through optical measurements. However, using GWs comes with its challenges due to the limited number of events and comparatively poor resolution. In my talk, I will give an overview of a set of interrelated projects in the field of cosmology and astrophysics, both for current and future detector networks. These span the research areas of H0 inference, galaxy properties and their association with compact binaries, lensing, and the large scale structure of the universe.
