Abstract
Large gauge symmetries of asymptotically flat Einstein gravity in 4 dimensions are extremely well understood. The asymptotic symmetry group is infinite dimensional, and the Ward identities of the associated charges lead to the infinitely many soft theorems of gravitational scattering. These infinitely many soft theorems exist in 6 dimensions as well. However, the construction of the corresponding charges has long remained elusive. In this talk I will present a way of constructing a consistent phase space of asymptotically flat Einstein gravity in 6 dimensions. In contrast with previous work, this phase space allows for the existence of super-rotations. Furthermore, I will explain how one can normalize the associated charges using an ambiguity in the symplectic form of gravity.
