All welcome

2022 marks the centennial of the death of the novelist Marcel Proust in November 1922. This event in Cambridge is part of a series of international commemorations of Proustโ€™s life and work this year. Editor of the Penguin Proust translation, author of Proust the Sceptic: Miracles and Mad Beliefs (2013), Christopher Prendergast has this year published Living and Dying with Marcel Proust (2022), described by Edmund White, in The New York Times as โ€˜a splendid new bookโ€™. This is a rare chance to hear Christopher Prendergast FBA , Professor of French, talk about Proust in Cambridge.

This talk is part of the efw1000's list series.
