If you have a question about this talk, please contact Jake Harris .

Multicellular plant development requires precise coordination of cellular behaviours, which may be achieved through cell-cell signalling and/or mechanics. Distinguishing between these mechanisms has been difficult. We have been using a combination of imaging, genetic, morphological and computational approaches to test hypotheses for coordination between tissue layers and show that mechanics plays a fundamental role.
