Abstract
How to change the ‘normal’ way of planning and conducting fieldwork and instead developing inclusive methods tailored to research participants’ livelihoods? What kind of research outputs add value to participants? Can academic papers be part of co-produced outputs or more local media to highlight the importance of co-produced outputs? In participatory research and fieldwork, who is best to lead the research – participants or the researcher? When a researcher needs to step in to ‘control’ the process and or outcomes?
