Abstract
In Acousto-Electric Tomography the aim is to reconstruct the interior conductivity distribution in a bounded domain from boundary measurements of currents and voltages taken while the domain is penetrated by an acoustic wave generated from the exterior. This leads to a coupled-physics inverse problem that, in principle, can be solved with high contrast and high resolution. However, many challenges in particular related to measurement SNR most be overcome. In this talk we address theoretically and computationally the feasibility of the method in particular for a limited angle problem, where only a (small) part of the boundary is accessible for measurements.
