Abstract
Kinetically constrained models are systems where cooperative relaxation emerges due to local constraints to the dynamics rather than quenched disorder, an example being the East model which plays an important role in theory of glasses. I will consider a circuit version of this model for which many aspects of the dynamics can be solved exactly. For the classical version, I will show how to compute the statistics of dynamical fluctuations which realise a dynamical equivalent of the hydrophobic effect in water. For the quantum model, I will show how to compute exactly the dynamics of entanglement. I will discuss implications of these exact results for constrained circuits more generally.
