Abstract
The World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation organisation that provides funds to local partner organisations overseas so that they can purchase land for conservation.
Claire Thompson, a previous undergraduate from the Zoology Department, will talk about the work of the WLT where she is currently undertaking an internship.
The presentation will focus on how land purchase can be used successfully as a strategy for conservation, backed up with examples from the conservation work supported by the WLT .
