Abstract
Over the past decade, a coherent set of discrepancies with respect to the SM predictions of decays where a b quark turns into an s quark and a dilepton pair sparkled extensive theoretical and experimental activity in the particle physics community. In this talk I will present my contributions to this research field. These span from experimental efforts aimed at performing lepton flavor universality measurements in previously unexplored kinematic regions to the validation of the dedicated tool employed by experimental collaborations to handle final state radiation of light leptons in B meson decays.
