Abstract
The seminar “Artificial Intelligence for Biomedical Imaging: Microscopy Applications and Challenges” will explore the integration of AI-driven methods throughout the entire pipeline of label-free microscopy data analysisโfrom preprocessing to the interpretation of single cells and tissue structures. Particular focus will be given to brightfield (BF) and phase contrast (PhC) imaging, as well as advanced techniques such as interferometry and ptychography. The talk will also address the role of explainable AI (XAI) in enhancing model transparency and interpretability, enabling reliable extraction of biologically meaningful features and supporting biomedical assessments.
Series This talk is part of the Data Science and AI in Medicine series.
