Abstract
Trees in the Mediterranean experience challenging environmental conditions that may be influenced by climatic or anthropogenic factors. The variability of these environmental conditions is registered and preserved in tree-rings. This study demonstrates the potential of the Troodos forests to further elucidate Cyprus’ environmental and anthropological histories when dendrochronological results are utilized in conjunction with geological, archaeological, and historical evidence.
