Abstract
Conversation 2: The conversation will explore the formation of citizens in secondary schools and how it is affected by state policy of integration. The context of study is immigrant and non-immigrant students in Denmark and Sweden and their assumptions, attitudes and perceptions of schooling as a medium of social inclusion. The comparative perspective will explore the considerable differences and similarities that exist between the country specific educational systems, multiculturalism, and state policies of integration.
