Abstract
This talk has been postponed until 30th April
Abstract: Future display and imaging technology will influence many aspects of our life. They process large, high-contrast, high-resolution, and full 3D images. In particular, the combination of real-time visualization and image processing with models of human visual perception and adapted imaging and display optics enable a large variety of new applications. Today’s SmartProjecting™ technology, for example, allows video projectors to display images on everyday surfaces and enables new experiences in entertainment, culture and art. Yet projectors are not only display devices. They also represent intelligent light sources that find applications in radiology, endoscopy, microscopy, TV studios and film-sets. In this talk, I will present our past contribution and future direction in this field.
