Abstract
In N=1 SUSY breaking, general gauge mediation (GGM) is a construction which encodes a SUSY breaking hidden sector into a supertraced set of current correlators. These current correlators are then mediated by an N=1 vector multiplet to the visible sector to generate MSSM soft terms. My talk will a) outline this setup b) explore recent progress in extending this setup to models involving brane to brane gauge mediation of supersymmetry breaking. The second part of the talk will focus on a particular SUSY breaking hidden sector model, referred to as “ISS”. This model will be outlined and then used as a particular example of the GGM construction.
