Abstract
I will discuss recent work on projective configuration counts: higher-dimensional analogues of cross-ratio degrees. I will explain how we establish an upper bound and a dimension reduction principle for these. I will end with a lamentation on the difficulties of compactifying configuration spaces in higher dimension.
