Abstract
In this talk, we consider performance limitations for disturbance rejection of scalar systems when feedback channel is subject to information constraints. Two kind of disturbances, bounded and Gaussian disturbances, are treated in a unified manner using information theoretic approach. We show that the achievable performance cannot be improved if maximum information constraints are relaxed to average constraints. Furthermore, we discuss the relation between information constraints and communication channel constraints.
