Abstract
The results of recent activity will be presented. The main topics are related to the investigations of the following structures: β epitaxial quasi-zero dimensional structures (dots, dashes, rods, columns) β mid infrared quantum well based laser structures β nitrides for near infrared and UV applications, β nanocrystalline materials The achievements on the spectroscopy of two dimensional hole systems (Quantum Hall Skyrmions and charges excitons ) will also be shown.
