Abstract
Joint IET /IMECHE lecture. Heat pumps are rapidly becoming an important part of the push towards renewable energy systems and forms a significant part of the Uk Government’s 2050 Pathways initiative. Daikin are one of the leading manufacturers of heat pumps in the Uk and in this talk they will discuss topics including heat pump market overview, drivers, regulations and the future expectations. They will also demonstrate heat pump benefits including the Daikin range and how a heat pump works, its efficiencies and savings. More detailed considerations such as the benefits of inverter compressors and their use inside a Daikin AWHP and other factor such as weather compensation will also be included.
