Abstract
This presentation outlines the AIM project and Dr. Tatsuya Hanaoka’s related research activities in the AIM team and some results from the research: 1. Overview of AIM activities, and relations of AIM model families. 2. Overview of the 25% GHG reductions target in 2020 in Japan – how did AIM models contribute to this policy decision making? 3. Technological mitigation potentials and costs in world regions by the AIM /Enduse[Global] model 4. Example of model comparison study on marginal abatement costs by the energy-engineering bottom-up models. 5. Introduction of the Emissions Scenarios Database 6. Introduction of Emissions inventory from LPS in Asia 7. My research interests in this year.
