Jane Munro is a curator in the Department of Paintings, Drawings and Prints at the Fitzwilliam Museum and Director of Studies in History of Art at Christ’s College. An expert on European painting and drawing of the 19th and early 20th centuries, especially the relationship between word and image, she will be known to HPS people especially as co-curator of the wonderful, original and hugely successful ‘Endless Forms: Charles Darwin, Natural Science and the Visual Arts’ (2009). This talk will discuss an exhibition she is planning.
