- đ Venue: Oatley Seminar Room, Department of Engineering
Abstract
This talk will outline the development of a novel extrusion process, which combines ideas from both film casting and fibre spinning process. The end result, comprising of an extruded ‘tape’ containing multiple, parallel, cylindrical bores has achieved successful proof of concept in fields as diverse as chemical microreactors, plastic heat solar panels and pressure sensing.
Series This talk is part of the Engineering - Mechanics and Materials Seminar Series series.
