Abstract
The talk is going to be rather eclectic and consisting of two parts: Part I: Hawking radiation of a charged scalar field in the Kerr-Newman background with a magnetic field . Part II: Hawking radiation of higher dimensional black holes in the Einstein-Gauss-Bonnet gravity.
Series This talk is part of the DAMTP Friday GR Seminar series.
