Abstract
In this talk we consider different variants of hybrid inflation model where a waterfall phase transition takes place either during or at the end of inflation. Depending on the sharpness of the waterfall transition and whether it happens early during inflation or towards the end of inflation it can have interesting effects on large scale curvature perturbations and non-Gaussianity. In particular, we show that a sharp phase transition happening early on during inflation produces a large spike non-Gaussianity.
