Abstract
At The Psychometrics Centre we have a long track record in test standardisation, having been responsible for the UK norms for several major international tests including the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC, both 3rd and 4th revisions), the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-III), the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT and WIAT -II),the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals (CELF-III) the Ravens Progressive Matrices and, currently, the 3rd Revision of the British Ability Scales. John Rust will consider the impact of changing demographics, changing data collection methods and changing attitudes to psychometrics on the test standardisation process today (and tomorrow).
