Abstract
This seminar series presents an introductory survey of Computer Science. Itβs designed for beginners of Computer Science as well as students from other disciplines. Starting from the assumption that attendees understand how to create and work with scalar, vector and matrix variables, this week’s talk looks at MATLAB scripts and MATLAB functions, showing how the editor may be used when writing code, how code may be changed iteratively, and how MATLAB functions may be debugged. The session will also introduce the MATLAB publisher, showing how to generate html and pdf output, among other formats, and will also touch on the MATLAB profiler, for those who wonder where all the time is going when their functions take an age to run.
Series This talk is part of the Computer Science Essentials series.
